Physical Description

Physical DescriptionNavy blue African wrapper set with a matching blouse (.a), wrap skirt (.b), and head wrap (.c). The garments feature a blue spiral pattern in multiple shades, as well as silver sequins and blue embroidery. The edges of the garments end in a blue leafy embroidered pattern and silver sequins.

Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to Marian Robinson during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
