Physical DescriptionA red, white, and blue handmade woven dog leash with plastic and stone bead embellishments. At one end is a silver metal clip attached to a blue section with blue plastic embellishments attached to the next white section with a brass-toned clip. The white section has clear plastic bead embellishments and a black floral stone bead dividing it from the red section, which has red plastic beads and two large red beads with multi-colored embellishments.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to the First Family during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
