Physical Description
Physical DescriptionTara Thangka scroll depicting four Buddhist deities with multi-colored borders of floral patterns. The largest deity is Tara. She is surrounded by flowers, has an aura of light behind her and wears a crown of flowers on her head. She has eyes on her hands, feet, and one in the center of her forehead. In the backgound are three more divine beings. The scroll has an attached cloth cover to protect it. The cover is yellow with a red border and has dot, flower, and pinwheel-shaped red and green designs in the yellow area. The scroll is attached to wooden dowels. The large dowel at the bottom has ornate caps on the ends.
