Physical DescriptionPoster with a dark gray speckled background. At the center of the poster is the backside of a naked human figure with the legs bent and feet together. The figure has a colorful blue, pink, and white wing spreading from the left side of their back. Printed upside down at the top of the poster and right side up at the bottom are the words "1989 * HIROSHIMA APPEALS" and the words "Heaven or Hell: The choice is yours" is printed in white in English along the right edge of the poster and in Japanese along the left edge of the poster.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
