Physical DescriptionPoster containing the word "PEACE" printed hundreds of times in either pink or orange letting in multiple different typefaces. The words are scattered, but form a large circle towards the top of the poster. Towards the bottom of the poster is an image of the mushroom cloud of an atomic bomb with the word "NO" printed in black three times, with the letters getting closer together with each "NO," as well a red no symbol. Printed in black at the bottom of the poster is "HIROSHIMA APPEALS 2008."Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
