Physical DescriptionRed leather envelope style clutch purse decorated small dots that are darker red. Included is a chain intertwined with a strand of red leather for a shoulder strap.
Historical NoteThis gift was received at the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly in September 2016 during a Let Girls Learn event.Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
