Physical DescriptionBlue decorative vase with a painted depiction of two birds perched atop a rock amongst an area of branches containing pink, green, and yellow flowers with green leaves. The entire empty blue space is filled with an engraved swirl pattern. The interior of the top of the vase is light blue.Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of a meeting in New York City during the 2016 United Nations General Assembly.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
