Head of State Highlights

This collection consists of staff favorites of the official gifts given to President Barack Obama and the First Family by foreign heads of state during the Obama administration, and accepted on behalf of the federal government. The artifact depicted here is Unglazed Vase with Mountain Design (FO.07092013-20-1), given to President Obama by Chinese President Xi Jinping on the occasion of a bilateral meeting hosted in California on June 7, 2013.
