Physical DescriptionBlack and white painting of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. looking at the viewer with the word PROMISE painted next to his face, on the left side of the painting. Along the sides of the canvas are faintly painted words with religious themes in black, white and gray, from a speech or sermon of Dr. King's.
