Depicts fourteen notable individuals including President Obama below a reproduction of the Declaration of independence. Text from the Declaration of Independence is printed in the bottom right-hand corner. Included in the painting are Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Abraham Lincoln, Thurgood Marshall, Harriet Tubman, John F. Kennedy, Frederick Douglas, and Malcolm X.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration.
