Physical DescriptionSilver and black jewelry set consisting of a necklace and dangle earrings. The necklace consists of a pendant on a chain; the pendant is a circular silver medallion with a woven silver and black center, below two oblong black stones, below a circular medallion with crossed line decoration. The earrings have a similar basket-weave black and silver center inside a silver ring, from which hangs two irregularly-shaped dark green glass beads.

Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
