Physical DescriptionBlack and gray dress containing gray, white, and golden designs made of lines. Some of the lines are straight and others form a topography-like design. There are black, gray, white, orange, and yellow rhinestones attached near the front of the dress near the neck. There are cutouts on both shoulders and the dress is made of two layers of draped fabric.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of President Barack Obama's visit to Malaysia in April 2014.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
