Physical DescriptionSet of six handcut lead crystal glasses with star-like designs throughout. The glasses rest inside a 21k gold and silver-toned holder with handles that feature flower and plant designs. There is a green fabric base with slots for each of the six cups to nest in and a clear acrylic cover with gold-toned stripes on the short edges and "AZERBAIJAN" written in gold.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.
