Physical DescriptionBrown leather portfolio, the front is imprinted with the company crest of a knight's mask surrounded by vines above an eagle and the year 1774. The interior left pocket is imprinted with the "G8 2009 Summit" logo of turtles with the world inside. Embossed at the bottom left of the pocket are the initials "B.H.O." with gold stenciling fill. The opposite flap contains a metal clipboard clasp holding white notebook with blank paper. Interior notebook has a glossy cover printed with the Pineider crest in silver, held in a yellow cloth satchel with the company crest in gray.Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of the 2009 G8 Summit held in L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy, on July 8-10, 2009.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
