Physical DescriptionNecklace with large circular pendant that has a row of amber-toned glass beads wired up the side and three clear stones hanging with chains at the bottom. On the clear stones there is a silver-toned swirling design and additional glass beads. The clasp of the necklace also has a glass bead.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of the AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) Policy Conference 2012 in Washington DC at which President Barack Obama spoke and met with President Shimon Peres of Israel.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
