Physical Description
Physical DescriptionNavy blue tracksuit with zippered jacket (.a) and matching pants (.b). Both pieces have white stripes up the sides embellished with red, white, and blue rhinestones. The reverse of the jacket has a large vinyl sticker of the Presidential Seal with the face of television personality Ellen DeGeneres in the center. The reverse of the pants has the word "POTUS" in red, white, and blue with rhinestone embellishments.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of an appearance on the Ellen Degeneres Show by First Lady Michelle Obama on February 2, 2012. In the episode, Ellen challenged Mrs. Obama to a push-up competition.Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration.
