Physical Description

Physical DescriptionA handmade collage made of mixed media on canvas. The piece features imagery pertaining to global warming with drawings of individuals planting trees and managing forests. The canvas has a black, red, and green border painted along the exterior edge and a light blue background. Some of the images are drawn in pencil and crayon on paper, and then pasted to the piece. There is an inscription painted along the right side of the artwork.

Inscriptions and MarkingsPainted in black paint along the right side of the piece: Dear President Obama, This is a message of hope and appeal from our younger siblings in Barrack Obama Primary School in your paternal village Kogelo. They are waiting to receive good news from you and are certain you will not disappoint them.
