Physical Description
Physical DescriptionCertificate commemorating the day President-Elect Obama laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Housed in a portfolio beside a color photograph of a soldier at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The certificate is printed on manila paper with the Great Seal of the United States printed on top and signed by Richard J. Row Jr., Major General, U.S. Army at the bottom. The upper right corner is held by a red, white, and blue ribbon. The photograph is held in place by white ribbons at each corner. The portfolio is dark navy blue faux-leather with metallic gold borders on the front cover.

Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration.
