The Lincoln Theatre is a historic theater in Washington, DC. The theater traditionally served the African American community during segregation. The theater included a movie house and ballroom, and hosted jazz and big band performers such as Duke Ellington. The Lincoln Theatre after the 1968 race-related riots, but was restored and reopened in 1994.
