Veronica D. Gerald

Veronica D. Gerald is an American academic and historian with a focus on Gullah Culture. She has worked as a Commissioner for the Gullah/Geechee Cultural Heritage Commission which was established in 2007 with the National Park Service and the States of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Gerald is a professor at Coastal Carolina University.
