Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu is an Israeli politician who has served as the Prime Minister of the State of Israel on three occasions, from 1996 until 1999, from 2009 until 2021, and he has been the incumbent since December 2022. Since 2005 Netanyahu has served as the head of the Likud political party.
