Didier Burkhalter

Didier Burkhalter is a Swiss politician who served as a Member of the Swiss Federal Council, the collective head of state of Switzerland, from November 2009 until October 2017. During his time on the Federal Council, Burkhalter served as the President in 2014 and the Vice President in 2012. He served as the Chair of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in 2014.
