The Boston Bruins are an American National Hockey League (NHL) team located in Boston, Massachusetts. The Bruins compete in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference and won the Stanley Cup in 2011 during the Obama administration. The team has been in existence since 1924, making them the third-oldest active team in the NHL and the oldest in the United States.
