Helene Hayman is a British politician who was Lord Speaker of the House of Lords in the Parliament of the United Kingdom from July 4, 2006 until August 31, 2011. Since 1996 Hayman has been a Member of the House of Lords as a life peerage. As a member of the Labour Party she was a Member of Parliament from 1974 to 1979.
