Han Zheng is a Chinese politician who served as the Mayor of Shanghai from March 2003 until December 2012. In November 2012 Han became the Communist Party Secretary of Shanghai, the highest official serving the administrative unit, a position he held until October 2017. Currently, Han serves as the Vice President of the People's Republic of China, a position he has held since March 2023.
