Oprah Winfrey is an American television host, producer, actress, author, and philanthropist known for her wide impact on the entertainment industry. Her eponymous daily talk show ran for twenty-five years and was the most popular show of the genre. Winfrey was a 2010 Kennedy Center Honoree.
