Quentin Bryce is an Australian academic, humanitarian, and lawyer who served as the Governor-General of Australia, representing the monarchy. She was the first woman to fill the role of Governor-General, a position she held from September 2008 until March 2014. She had previously served as the Governor of Queensland.
