Mario Monti is an Italian economist who served as the Prime Minister of Italy from November 16, 2011 to April 28, 2013. From November 2011 until July 2012 Monti had served as the Italian Minister of Economy and Finance. Since 2011 Monti has been an Italian Senator for Life.
