Thich Nhat Hanh was a Vietnamese Buddhist monk, poet, author, and spiritual leader. Nhat Hanh, known as the "Father of Mindfulness," was a major influence on Western practices of Buddhism and is often credited as the founder and inspiration behind engaged Buddhism.
