The Wounded Warrior Regiment of the United States Marine Corps was founded in 2007 to assist with the support, recovery, and non-medical care of combat and non-combat wounded, ill, and injuried Marines, Sailors attached to Marine units, and their family members as they return to duty or to civilian life.
