Daniel Sperber

Daniel Sperber is a British-born Israeli Talmudic professor, academic, and rabbi. He has published numerous books on Jewish history and culture and is a professor at Bar-Ilan University. Sperber is also an honorary Chancellor of the Canadian Yeshiva & Rabbinical School in Toronto and the served as the rabbi of Menachem Zion Synagogue in Jerusalem. He was awarded the Israel Prize for Jewish studies in 1992.
