Casper Darare

South African, 1952 - 2001
Casper Darare was a South African sculptor from the Shona tribe (Zimbabwe) descent. His work focused on stone carving, a form he had began working in at the age of nine. Casper's best known work was a series of small busts of members of African tribes for the "Spirit of Africa" collection which was reproduced in metal.
