Arnold Schwarzenegger is the former Governor of California. Born in Austria, he became a world-class bodybuilder, earning the title Mr. Universe among other championship titles. He became a U.S. citizen in 1983. He was appointed by President George H.W. Bush to chair the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. He was elected Governor of California in 2003 and served until 2011.
