Gertrude Mutharika

Gertrude Mutharika a Malawian nurse and politician who served as the First Lady of Malawi from June 2014 until June 2020, while her husband, Peter Mutharika, was President. Prior to her marriage and time as first lady, Mutharika was a Member of Parliament representing Balaka North constituency from 2009 until 2014.
