Atelier Versace

Gianni Versace S.r.l., usually referred to simply as Versace, is one of the leading international fashion design houses and a symbol of Italian luxury world-wide founded by Gianni Versace in Milan, Italy in 1978. In 1997, Donatella Versace took over as Creative Director. The company produces upmarket Italian-made ready-to-wear and accessories, as well as haute couture pieces under the Atelier Versace brand. In 2016, First Lady Michelle Obama wore a Versace rose gold chain mail dress to the Italian State Dinner.
