Howard University

Howard University is a private, federally chartered historically Black research university. Howard has been open to all students regardless of race or gender since its founding in 1867. Howard currently offers more undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs than any other Historically Black College or University (HBCU) in the United States.

President Barack Obama delivered the commencement address at Howard University in May 2016.
