Jewel Howard Taylor was a member of the Senate of the Republic of Liberia, representing Bong County as the Senior Senator, for 12 years. She served from 2006 until 2018. Prior to her time in the Senate Taylor served as the First Lady of Liberia from August 1997 until August 2003 while her then husband, Charles Taylor, was President.
