Farida Sellal is an Algerian telecommunications engineer and author who is the spouse of former Prime Minister of Algeria Abdelmalek Sellal, who was in office from April 2014 until May 2017. From 2003 until 2020 she was the President of the association "Saving the Imazd", which she also helped found. She has worked in higher education and is a proponent for women's education.
