Jersey Vargas

Jersey Vargas was 10 years old when she traveled to Vatican City as part of a 16-person delegation from California representing the children of immigrant parents. She asked Pope Francis for help for her father, who was at risk of being deported. She requested that he speak to President Obama at an upcoming meeting.
