Laurence Jenkell

Laurence Jenkell is a self-taught French artist who lives and works in Vallauris in the Alpes-Maritimes, France. She has been creating medium- defying sculptures since the 1990s. Implementing her signature “wrapping twist technique,” Jenkell is known for her vibrantly colored “wrapped” candy sculptures. In 2011, she was commissioned by the G20 Planning Commitee to create art for each attending country.
