Ernie Banks was an American professional baseball player regarded as one of the greatest of all time. He played 19 seasons with the Chicago Cubs, hit over 500 home runs, and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1977. President Barack Obama presented him with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2013.
