Charles Farrar

Charles Farrar is an American woodturner who crafts vessels and bowls. According to his artist's statement, he prefers to create works from woods native to his home in North Carolina and is inspired by their natural grain, knots, and burls. In 2010, Farrar was invited by Mayor Anthony Foxx of Charlotte, North Carolina to present President Barack Obama with one of his works.
