Cassandra Butts

Cassandra Butts was an American lawyer and policy expert. On December 23, 2008, Butts was selected by President-elect Barack Obama to serve as Deputy White House Counsel, and on November 6, 2009 as senior advisor in the Office of the Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation. Butts was also a longtime friend of President Obama.
