Ambassador Peter Ammon

Peter Ammon is a German diplomat who served as the German Ambassador to the United States from 2011 until 2014, following which he served as the German Ambassador to the United Kingdom until 2018. Previously, Ammon had served as the State Secretary at the German Foreign office from 2008 until 2011. During his time in public service, Ammon provided support for the German Chancellor in G7/G8 negotiations.
