Offaly County Council

Offaly County Council is the authority responsible for local government in County Offaly, Ireland. The council is responsible for housing and community, roads and transportation, urban planning, culture, and environment. The council has is composed of 19 elected officials who serve five year terms. The head of the council has the title of Cathaoirleach (Chairperson). The county administration is headed by a Chief Executiv with the seat of the county in Tullamore.
