Rachida Dati is a French politician who served as Member of the European Parliament, representing Île-de-France from July 14, 2009 to July 1, 2019. Prior to her election, she held the Cabinet post of Minister of Justice from May 18, 2007 to June 23, 2009. She was elected Mayor of the 7th arrondissement of Paris and has served in the position since March 29, 2008.
