Vanda Pignato is a Brazilian-born Salvadoran lawyer, human rights activist, and politician who acted as First Lady of El Salvador from 2009 until 2014, during the term of her husband President Mauricio Funes. During his term, he appointed her Secretary of Social Inclusion, and his successor re-appointed her to the role in 2014.
