Doris Leuthard is a Swiss politician who served as a Member of the Swiss Federal Council from 2006 until 2018. During her time on the Federal Council, Leuthard held the title of President twice, in 2010 and again in 2017. Leuthard also served as Vice President twice, once in 2009 and again in 2016. From 2006 until 2010 Leuthard served as the Head of the Department of Economic Affairs. From 2010 until 2018, Leuthard served as the Head of Environment, Transport, Energy, and Communications.
