Madhav Kumar Nepal is a Nepalese politician who served as the Prime Minister of Nepal from May 25, 2009 until February 6, 2011. Prior to becoming Prime Minister he was the elected chairman of the Constitutional Committee of the Constituent Assembly which had the responsibility of drafting Nepal's new constitution. From 2013 utnil 2017, Nepal served as a member of the Legislative Parliament.
