Frank-Walter Steinmeier is a German politician who began his career in law. For two years, from 2007 until 2009 Steinmeier served as the Vice Chancellor of Germany. Steinmeier was then member of the German Bundestag and was the leader of the opposition from 2009 unil 2013 when he became the Minister of Foreign Affairs. He remained as Minister of Foreign Affairs until becoming the President of Germany in 2017.
